About
I’m a 23 year old MIS/IT/IS (whatever acronym you want to use) Manager for a small company in Fort Pierce, FL. I’ve been working on or around computers since about the time I was 12. Due to a serious lack of formal schooling I had ample amounts of time to learn about whatever technology interested me at the time. I started on an Apple IIGS and progressed from there. I’m essentially a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none when it comes to technology. I know PHP, SQL, Ruby, RoR, HTML, CSS, Linux, Cisco Routers, Windows, Active Directory, OSX, Python, and various hardware things…do I know any of them well? Except for network and hardware stuff…notsomuch.
I started this blog merely with the intention of writing about my vacation to Japan which it quite successfully did and then kind of abandoned it. My job leaves me with lots of free time so I ended up reading sites like Reddit, Digg, and Metafilter…a lot. I began by sharing links with people I thought would be interested, then I realized, “Oh! That’s what a blog is for, this’ll save a lot of time.” It is because of such inspiring laziness that you now see this page in front of you.
